BHUTAN

LUXURY HONEYMOONS & IDYLLIC FAMILY GETAWAYS

why experience BHUTAN with us?

A wonderland of the rainforest canopy, sublime mountains, and aeons old dzongs; an untainted land of magic – Bhutan is well & truly beckoning.

Often referred to as "the last Shangri-la," and it's easy to see why. The region is an episode of contrasting, jaw-dropper scenic settings; stunning natural beauty, from its lush green blankets to its snow-cloaked peaks, from its teeming capital city to its isolated yet gently sloping eastern region. Treasures of vibrant culture and the traditional way of life amidst which all time leaps through decades, like a portal to the yore.

Venture into the mystical kingdom of Bhutan, where awe-inspiring natural beauty meets eco-conscious living. This land of enchantment is not just a visual feast, but also a trailblazer in sustainable living, making it a true inspiration to the rest of the world. Bhutan is the earth's MVP (Most Valuable Planet-saver) - the only carbon-negative country & no-plastic country. Instead of counting bucks, they measure Gross National Happiness to ensure citizens and nature are thriving in harmony. By protecting their natural and cultural resources, it eventually showcases a more authentic experience than your ex's Instagram feed if we're being honest. ;)

Explore the hidden treasures of five major valleys - Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey, and Bumthang - each offering a unique and unforgettable visual experience. Traverse the verdant landscapes and breathtaking vistas, immerse yourself in the rich culture and ancient traditions, and indulge in the warm hospitality of the Bhutanese people. But here's an interesting tidbit - there are no traffic lights in Bhutan, not even in its bustling capital city, Thimphu. You just won't find any stoplights or neon signs disturbing the peace and tranquillity of this enchanting land. Instead, the locals practice a simple and efficient system of courteous driving, making for a stress-free and enjoyable journey for all. So why not ditch the chaos of modern-day city living?

With an exquisite collection of luxury lodges to rest your head peppered throughout the region, Buddhist chants swirling through the mystic melody of the calming breeze, hovering above the dramatic monasteries - the set-up here is irresistibly compelling. While traveling through Bhutan we are sure that you will be dazzled by its sights and sounds - from spectacular cliff views on your drive through serene valleys to stupendous vistas at dawn and dusk - but there is so much more than meets the eye! Bhutan is also truly world-renowned for some incredible treks and colourful festivals. So no more wondering when is the best time to visit Bhutan when you have a plethora of options around the year.

So whether you're looking for the best luxury hotels in Bhutan, an adventure with some of the best treks in Bhutan or simply a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life with top wellness getaways in Bhutan - it certainly won't disappoint and we have you well covered!

= Excellent: Spring & Autumn are easily the best times of the year to explore Bhutan. Spring (Mar-May) brings nature lovers close to the blossoming flora & fauna with incredible panoramic vistas of the valleys. Autumn (Sep-Nov) again brings pleasant climate, stunning views & ideal conditions for trekking. It even boasts of some of the most popular local festivals (such as Thimphu Tscechu). Advisable to book in advance (especially Oct) for these periods given the low availability & higher pricing across all the valleys.

= Good: During the Winters (Dec-Feb), Bhutan is as cold as it gets in the country. Snowfall generally occurs in Jan & Feb - only 3000m and above. The lower temperatures mean lesser tourists and better pricing across the country. Still a good time for trekking in the central highlands & south of the country. Also is a very good time to catch the endangered Black-neck Crane without hoards of crowds.

= Fair: The Summer in Bhutan brings the increased temperatures & higher rainfall to the country. Yet, protected by the mighty Himalayas, rain unlike most other parts of Asia is often intermittent and limited to late nights or early mornings. Not an ideal time for birdwatching or treks, this period is rewarding for those seeking to escape the crowds with attractive deals on offer at luxury lodges.
